Antithesis? That’s fandom-speak for sexual tension.
Harry Potter blog with a queer slant, exploring realms both serious and Sirius, overt and subtextual, canonical and fanatical. The best discussions, of course, involve your questions and collaboration. Note well, I sail with Wolfstar.

Take another little piece of my heart now, baby,
Break another little bit of my heart now, darling, yeah.
A kiss.
So sweet together.

Angelina/Katie/Alicia
A little bit of dreamcasting: Rachel McAdams for Katie and Rihanna for Alicia. Lyrics from “3” (Britney Spears):
“Three is a charm
Two is not the same
I don’t see the harm
So are you game?
Let’s make a team
Make ‘em say my name
Lovin’ the extreme
Now are you game?”

Fleur Delacour/Hermione
“In your eyes, / the light, the heat,/ I am complete,” — Peter Gabriel
Padma/Cho, with lyrics from Orlando Gibbons’ “The Silver Swan”.
darlin you know
that you make me feel
so beautiful
— Darren Hayes
Fleur/Hermione. This one was a long time coming. Very interesting request. But I like the way it turned out. I wanted to play with the idea of beauty — a trait Fleur is known for and Hermione is not — yet somehow Hermione still manages to make Fleur feel beautiful, and Fleur to make Hermione feel beautiful.
Eyes speak
when tongues neglect
and the mouth will taste
what that gaze reflects.

More Hermione/Luna!
You can love reason but you cannot reason with love — Me
Luna/Hermione: the arguments caused by Luna’s extreme willingness to believe and Hermione’s stern skepticism cease when their lips lock.
Cho/Luna: “Wise men say only fools rush in, but i can’t help falling in love with you.”
A play on the wisdom of Ravenclaw House against the irrationality of love.
“The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.” —Ferdinand Foch
Molly/Tonks
One of the more unique requests I received.
Probably began with Tonks as an innocent older-woman crush — tea and long talks about life — leading to a stolen kiss. How much infidelity was there? Your mileage may vary.
Now we know why Molly was so eager to see Remus and Tonks together — to alleviate her guilt and assure herself that Tonks had moved on.
